BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Margot K. Juby was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Read English at Hull University, graduating with first-class honours, and lived in Hull (with increasing reluctance) for twenty seven years. She now lives in Cottingham. A veteran of the small presses, appearances in print have included Tribune, The Scotsman, Bête Noire, The Rialto, The Wide Skirt, Iron etc., plus TV and radio. She is the only 'new poet from Hull' (Bloodaxe 1982) who was also a 'writer of East Anglia' (Secker and Warburg 1977).
